Delivery Information

We currently offer delivery to mainland UK, including Scottish Highlands & Islands. 

Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer a shipping service for online customers in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland & Isle of Man. We appreciate this must be disappointing and would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are a business customer based in Ireland and are interested in a trade account, please fill out our contact form to arrange a call to discuss further options

Our delivery partner is DHL who will deliver your parcel on a working day, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:30. A signature will usually be required upon delivery.

Additional costs for these services are outlined below in the Delivery Charges section

Orders are shipped Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

For special deliveries (such as timed next day or Saturday deliveries), please contact our customer service team to discuss options and costs. 

It is our policy to carry a large quantity of stock for most items. However, due to unforeseen circumstances we may from time to time, be out of stock of your desired item(s). In this event, we will advise you as soon as possible and give you an approximate delivery date of your order balance.

Covid-19 Updates:

Please note that whilst the vast majority of orders should be unaffected, the couriers we partner with cannot guarantee all deliveries will arrive on time, due to increased demand and reduced capacity due to social-distancing and staff absence as a result of Covid-19. 

Cancellations or Returns

Once an order has been submitted online we are usually unable to cancel or change it, because it will have automatically processed to our warehouse. However, please call us if you wish to cancel an order as soon as possible and we'll do our best to assist.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us by phone on (0)141 420 2422 or email us with full details of the items you wish to return, including the order number.

We are unable to accept returns for any opened cases of food products.
Other items may be returned in original undamaged packaging and must be deemed to be suitable for re-sale before credit is awarded. All returns are subject to a re-stocking charge of 10% of the item(s) value or £10 (€15) whichever is greater. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from shipment. The shipping costs of returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If any goods are found to be defective on delivery we will gladly replace at our expense. Customers must inform Matthew Algie of any damage on the same day of receiving the order. Please sign for goods as damaged on receipt if there is evidence of damage to outer packaging. Specific details of damage and consignment note number together with order reference number are required. This does not affect your statutory rights.
